The language corpus should be seen as a tool for creating and developing multiple automated systems (speech recognition, machine translation, information retrieval). Also, the corpus can be actively used for lexicographic purposes and language teaching. Language learning and teaching are especially relevant for the Crimean Tatar language. Its position is so dangerous that UNESCO has included the Crimean Tatar language in the list of languages under serious threat.
